ASL Learning Resources
There are lots of resources online and in the region for learning ASL. Here are a few to consider, and there are lots more at our Discord under out #asl-resources channel.
North Seattle College
Michael Cooper is the ASL Professor at North Seattle College, and teaches ASL 121, 122, and 123 for credit. He is faculty advisor to the NSC ASL Club, and teaches Deaf culture alongside ASL vocabulary and grammar.

Dennice Jordan is a dedicated and high spirited teacher that offers ASL classes at North Seattle College Continuing Education (non-credit courses). You will quickly learn finger spelling, develop a basic vocabulary, and grasp the general concepts and structure of sign language communication.

ASL University, Dr. Bill vicars
Resource site for ASL students, teachers, interpreters, and parents of Deaf children. While his website looks very old in style, the content is constantly updating and is a great resource for ASL learners.

Sign Language 101
An affordable online course with ASL 1 and 2 offered. Is accredited with IACET, and offers certificates which count for CEU's (continuing education credits) for those who need it. Deaf owned and operated.

ASL Connect
Galaudet University is the only Deaf liberal arts college in the world. They offer online learning opportunities, as well as college-credit classes in ASL and Deaf Studies.

ASL Deafined
I am personally subscribed to this content, and recommend it for its good organization, high volume of content for beginners and more experienced signers, and diversity of materials.
